Sunflowers and Strawberries

I think this piece is cute and fun.  Paired with the "Oranges" and "Apple," it would be a great collage perfect for your kitchen or dining room. I used high quality acrylic paints and chose the canvas panel because it can be put easily into a glassed frame of your choice, or hardware mounted on the back for a free-style effect.

Most people that know me or even visit my home instantly recognize that I have a deep love for the Sunflower.  Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers" was one of the first paintings I studied as a child.  I stood in about 10,000 acres of sunflowers in the South of France and this flower was also featured throughout my wedding.  The sunflower's meanings include longevity and loyalty and it also mirrors the wonderful qualities of the Sun; warmth, energy and contentment. I promise......this is not my last painting of a Sunflower!
